This release focuses less on social issues and the state of society, and instead delves into the past, channeling images of the golden age of hip hop. “All Seriousness Aside” is reminiscent of the laid back beats and lyrics of the early years of hip hop retro-fitted to the present to remind listeners that the good days aren't as far away as they seem.
